Revit API Development Engineer

to join our thriving team at IMEG. In this role, you will leverage your expertise with the Autodesk Revit API to develop and improve our suite of engineering automation applications. Collaborating closely with product owners and fellow engineers, you will engage in a variety of projects that will enhance our extensive application library. Your Key Responsibilities: Assist the Development Manager with all aspects of software design and coding. Contribute to and maintain IMEG's proprietary RAPIL (Revit API Layer) codebase. Participate in company development meetings and share insightful contributions. Learn the existing codebase and demonstrate continuous improvement in coding skills. Write, maintain, and improve code based on project requirements. Address minor bug fixes to ensure system reliability. Monitor the technical performance of internal systems and propose enhancements. Respond to inquiries from the development team efficiently. Gather user feedback regarding program functionality to inform development. Assist with documentation to support clarity and understanding. Conduct development tests to ensure quality and reliability. Write unit tests to maintain code integrity. Complete other assigned duties as required. Essential Skills and Abilities: Proficient in Autodesk Revit API, C#, and the WPF Framework. Solid knowledge of databases and operating systems. A good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software. Quickly adaptable to new software and technologies. Collaborative team player with the ability to follow instructions. Strong understanding of organizational objectives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills focused on rapport-building and active listening. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy. Familiarity with basic coding languages including C#, HTML5, and JavaScript. Basic programming knowledge. Proficiency in Jira, Git, and Blazor is preferred. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience in a related field will be considered. At least 5 years of experience working with the Revit API in a professional software environment. Please note: This position is not eligible for sponsorship. Salary Range: $90,000-$115,000/year, with variations based on location. Individual pay will reflect experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Additional rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
