Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Global Specialist Solutions Architect - Streaming, Data & AI. In this pivotal role within the AWS sales organization, you will tackle complex challenges faced by our customers and craft expert-level, scalable, and resilient technical architectures tailored to their needs. As part of the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO), you will drive revenue and growth, collaborating with small and mid-market accounts as well as enterprise-level customers, including the public sector. Your expertise will be instrumental in addressing critical business problems and executing go-to-market strategies that harness the power of AWS services. We are seeking a Streaming Data Specialist Solutions Architect who will: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in leveraging AWS managed services such as Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK), Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, Amazon Data Firehose, and Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink. Guide clients in refactoring applications and designing new cloud-based systems. Act as a trusted advocate for customers, helping them understand advanced cloud solutions and migration strategies. Collaborate with business development teams to define technical components of innovative GTM solutions. Develop community insights and field enablement materials to support the broader Solutions Architect population. The successful candidate will have: 7+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures. 5+ years of specific technology domain experience (software development, cloud computing, etc.). Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture or Cloud Security Professional). Experience communicating across various audiences, including executive stakeholders. Job duties include: collaborating effectively, adhering to safety standards, and following company policies. Compensation for this role ranges from approximately $138,200 to $239,000 annually, depending on geographic market and individual qualifications.
