Senior Solution Architect for Insurance Applications

Job Description : Join a dynamic specialty insurance company as a Senior Solution Architect, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing application development within our Property practice. You will be responsible for both the architectural and technical design of new and existing in-house applications. Your key responsibilities will include: Hands-on development: Writing and reviewing code. Managing repositories and ensuring code quality. Mentoring junior staff and fostering collaboration within cross-functional IT teams. Leading architectural strategy and implementation of best practices. Refactoring existing applications, implementing AI-enabled solutions, and addressing legacy application challenges. Key projects you will be involved in: Updating an existing application from older versions of .Net and Angular to the latest standards. Deploying newly created AI-enabled applications. Working on legacy application enhancements. Ideal candidates will have: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly with .Net and Angular. Strong architectural design experience, with a focus on API-first development. Experience with Azure DevOps for automating deployment pipelines. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with business and IT stakeholders. Leadership experience managing junior and offshore development teams. Azure cloud certifications and relevant industry experience. Exposure to application development within the insurance sector.
