As an
Information Assurance (IA)/Cybersecurity Engineer
, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) at Fort Huachuca. In this position, you’ll be responsible for the design, development, integration, and operational support of secure network environments across NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and Deployed Forces segments of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN). Job Responsibilities:
Provide technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management.
Develop and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats.
Participate in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, task orders, and administrative reporting.
Conduct security Infrastructure assessments.
Ensure information assurance integration, planning, analysis, and documentation of enterprise systems.
Ensure and monitor the security of the enterprise infrastructure and systems.
Maintaining relevant documentation related to information security and conduct Security Assessment Reports, Risk Assessments, and System Security Plans.

Qualifications: Qualifications
Must be a US citizen.
Must have a Tier 3 Secret Security Clearance.
IAT Level III Certification required (CompTIA CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP).
Eight (8+) years of experience in the information technology field.
BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.
Experience with security hardening, collection, and assessment tools (STIGs, ACAS SCAP, Nessus, etc.).
Experience with security architectures, firewalls, and network access.
Experience managing cybersecurity compliance through eMASS, including uploading artifacts, maintaining system security plans (SSPs), and supporting assessment and authorization workflows.
Proven ability to support and obtain Authority to Operate (ATO) by preparing documentation, conducting vulnerability assessments, and collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate risks and meet DoD cybersecurity standards.
Hands-on knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle, including control selection and implementation (NIST SP 800-53), security control assessments, and continuous monitoring activities.
Preferred:
Understanding of Army Enterprise LWN capabilities, tools, procedures, and operational constructs.
Knowledge of the DoD cybersecurity policy requirements outlined in DoDI 8500.01, “Cybersecurity,” and DoDI 8510.01, “Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology.
Knowledge of DoD and Army Regulation (AR) 25-2 Information Assurance and AR 25-1 Army Information Technology.
Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment/providing DoD organizations with technical support..
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
