About the Role We’re seeking a
Maintenance Technician
to support our Van Buren facility by ensuring our equipment and systems run reliably, safely, and efficiently. This hands-on role is essential to keeping our manufacturing process strong—from preventive maintenance to troubleshooting to urgent repairs. You’ll work independently and as part of a team to diagnose issues, keep detailed records, and help implement long-term improvements across our operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.
Schedule Options Work a 2-2-3 schedule to give you the perfect work/life balance. Available Shifts: Day Shift : 4:00 AM – 4:15 PM Night Shift : 4:00 PM – 4:15 AM
Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automated systems on food processing and packaging equipment Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to reduce downtime Perform equipment resets, PC/PLC reboots, and system calibrations Interpret technical documents including wiring schematics, electrical diagrams, and equipment manuals Support plant safety through strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, PPE use, Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures, and Arc Flash protocols Assist with building systems including electrical panels, fire suppression, and chillers Document work using CMMS tools and communicate status across shifts Participate in team-driven improvements using TPM/Lean tools and root-cause analysis
What You'll Bring Required: High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings Preferred: Technical certification or associate’s degree in maintenance, mechatronics, or industrial systems Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motor control logic, and control panel wiring Familiarity with CMMS systems; SAP experience is a plus Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Comfort working in high-speed, high-efficiency production environments Willingness to work in varying conditions, indoors and out
