Senior Technical Consultant - GCP Cloud Solutions

Position Overview: The Senior Technical Consultant - GCP Cloud Solutions is a technical thought leader who serves as the primary architect for designing, developing, and implementing complex solutions. This role involves mentorship of engineers and collaboration on internal initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement intricate enterprise-grade technical solutions tailored for clients. Engage in hands-on coding, focusing on APIs and CI/CD components. Deliver high-quality presentations and documentation for client engineering teams and senior management. Present innovative solution ideas to senior leadership. Act as a strategic liaison, ensuring alignment of technical solutions with business objectives. Establish project estimates, identify risks, and oversee the development and delivery of solutions. Mentor project teammates and foster collaboration within technical communities. Qualifications: Proven ability to conceptualize solutions on a whiteboard in front of customers, addressing business and technology challenges. Strong knowledge of modern cloud-native application design principles, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and containerization. Hands-on programming experience with Python or similar languages. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 6+ years in IT, including 3+ years in GCP Cloud, DevOps, Automation, and Digital Transformation. Experience designing and implementing core platform services in areas such as compute, storage, networking, databases, containers, security, and identity. Relevant certifications are highly desirable (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Pro, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Terraform Associate). Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and deployment services (Harness, GitHub, Jenkins). Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux virtualization environments. Compensation: The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000, which reflects on-target earnings including base salary and potential bonuses. Why AHEAD?
