Data Engineer and Governance Manager
(Accenture LLP): Join Accenture LLP in this exciting opportunity as a Data Engineer and Governance Manager. This role is essential in shaping and managing data systems and applications to enhance business processes. Key Responsibilities: Analyze, design, build, test, implement, and maintain a variety of system components or applications. Develop or update comprehensive project plans for IT initiatives, detailing objectives, technologies, systems, specifications, schedules, and resource allocation. Ensure applications meet service level agreements (SLAs) while managing project execution to adhere to budget, schedule, and scope. Engage in the Service Delivery Lifecycle to engineer solutions for new system rollouts and enhancements. Design, architect, and code applications in compliance with programming standards. Establish MLops/Dataops processes and develop system specifications for complex systems. Identify and resolve complex problems through in-depth analysis and deliver effective solutions. Lead and supervise a team to translate user/system requirements into design specifications. Manage project and issue reporting, making decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management. Collaborate closely with client or internal senior management to ensure strategic alignment and prototype solutions. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT consulting. 5 years of experience in designing and developing database components within the healthcare payer industry. Proficiency in working with cloud technologies (AWS) and DevOps methodologies. Experience in coding and deploying applications using GitLab, AWS, and Splunk. Expertise in developing applications and ETL processes utilizing Scala, Python, PySpark, and Shell. Strong skills with SQL databases, including PostgreSQL and RedShift. Experience in creating prototypes and managing data for machine learning and AI applications. Ability to drive design decisions and propose improvements for ongoing challenges. Management experience with onshore and offshore delivery teams in a healthcare context. Must be willing to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
