Our comprehensive practice serves a diverse patient population including: Women with chronic health conditions Patients who develop unexpected complications during pregnancy Women with histories of high-risk pregnancies Select low-risk pregnancies requiring specialized care Our expansive care network includes: Multiple ultrasound facilities throughout the Froedtert system Coverage at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin's Fetal Concerns Center The innovative Maternal Mobile Clinic that brings essential prenatal care to underserved areas of Milwaukee As part of our team, you'll collaborate with the Medical College of Wisconsin on cutting-edge research initiatives. Work alongside highly skilled sonographers, nurses, genetic counselors, and perinatologists to make a meaningful impact on maternal and infant health throughout greater Milwaukee and beyond. Experience Description: One year of current clinical experience is preferred. Education Description: Graduate or a student in a program accredited by an agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), United States Department of Education (USDOE) or Canadian Medical Association (CMA), that specifically conducts programmatic accreditation for diagnostic medical Ultrasound/Sonography. Associate or Bachelors degree in Ultrasound/Sonography is preferred. Substantial training and current clinical experience with ARDMS registry will be accepted. Special Skills Description: Candidate must be proficient with ultrasound equipment and have basic knowledge of patient care equipment. Familiarity with McKesson PACS, Epic EMR preferred. Licensure Description: Newly hired, experienced sonographers must be registry eligible through the ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers). Sonographers will be required to be registered in OB/GYN (OB) and Fetal Echo (FE) and certified in Nuchal Translucency (NT) and Cervical Length (CLEAR). Each registry and certification not obtained at the time hire will need to be completed every 9 months until all are complete. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life support for the Healthcare provider (BLS) or an American Heart Association (AHA) approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
