Software Engineer
Our client is hiring for an iOS Software Engineer to join their team in San Diego, CA. In this position, you will be designing and developing iOS applications for our core CGM devices used all over the world. You will be joining a well-established team & company, on an upward growth trajectory. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. For our W2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. Rate: $55 - $57 / hr. W2 Responsibilities:
Design and build applications for the iOS platform Implement requirements on iOS apps, write and update design documents Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to strengthen development efficiency Interface with software test to ensure high quality product Develop automated unit and integration tests Participate in design, code and test reviews Propose and implement enhancements to the apps to improve sustainability Experience Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of native iOS app development experience using Swift in combination with both UIKit and SwiftUI. Knowledge of Objective C is preferred. 3 years of professional software development experience High degree of diligence in documentation, testing and coding Experience working in Agile teams & using tools such as Jira and Confluence Experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Github Actions Experience with version control tools such as Git, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket and GitFlow Experience writing automated tests using XCTest and XCUITest Must Haves:
Strong understanding of software development principles and practice 3-5+ years of iOS development experience Architectural experience is key 1-2+ years of experience with Swift Testing experience: Unit Testing is most important! but also Espresso Testing experience would all be nice to have not required to have/know Enterprise level experience and longer-term stints at companies are strongly preferred on resumes - no job hoppers Big plus: Bluetooth experience & any industry experience that has FDA requirements OR enterprise level company experience and documentation Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
