About Us
We are seeking a part time Hotel Night Auditor to become a part of our team! Job requires a minimum of one year in the hospitality industry or a minimum of 1 year in customer service. Benefits such as IHG Hotel discounts and more are available after 90 days of employment. Work schedule is from 11pm-7am. Applicant must be available weekends.
Your day to day
Register and assign rooms to guests
Book guest hotel reservations.
Confirm phone and online reservations
Respond to guest needs, requests, and complaints
Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments
Ensure every guest is greeted and welcomed in a unique and personable way upon arrival.
Reconcile and complete all daily Front Desk Agents' work. Ensure that any issues from the day are corrected before processing the audit. Communicate any findings/issues to the GM.
Run all night audit functions consistent with closing out all daily transactions and preparing for the following day's operations.
Process advance deposit transactions
Send necessary requested/mandatory reports to management
Register guests to the hotel, verifying reservation, personal information, and securing payment information.
Provide guests with information regarding hotel facilities and local attractions.
Answer and route calls as appropriately
Checks and Responds to front desk hotel email
Promote the IHG brand loyalty program and provide recognition and benefits to all members.
Anticipate guests' needs and respond timely, appropriately and in a friendly manner.
Assist in resolving guest complaints regarding service and/or accommodations, whether handling on own, or elevating to managerial level
Responsible for cash drawer contents and transactions during shift
Maintain appropriate market inventory levels, restocking when necessary
Handle confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity
Call in and open tickets with Opera, Property Management System, or System support during the overnight hours if system fails or issues occur.
Keeping front desk clean and organized
Follow and abide the company policies, and safety procedures
Assist with other duties as assigned.
What we need from you
Previous experience in customer service, front desk service, or other related fields
Computer literacy, including familiarity with PMS software
Ability to build rapport with guests
Able to work independently and desire to participate as part of a team
Demonstrate genuine care for guests, employees, and management.
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, and customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle phone systems effectively
Familiarity with hotel/property management systems
Ability to handle guest relations and provide assistance as needed
Able to work independently and desire to participate as part of a team
Able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations
Ability to be considerate by being respectful, accommodating, and perceptive. Be reliable by being professional, a team player and resourceful.
