What You'll do: Groundswell is looking for experienced technical Appian consultants to provide integrated architecture support for our delivery teams and act as trusted advisors to our clients. Architects help scale our business by providing expert guidance on solution delivery and designing and integrating cutting-edge Appian solutions into our client's architecture. Architects mentor our delivery teams on best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design, and implement internal processes and tools to improve business efficiencies. Who You'll Be Collaborating With: Our Appian practice is led by Appian alumni with decades of experience delivering mission-critical Appian solutions at scale, leveraging our award-winning solutions, component libraries, and foundations. You'll team up with a diverse, enthusiastic, multi-disciplinary team of creative minds with a smart sense of humor. What You'll Be Working On: Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other initiatives to drive technical success Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions tailored to their needs Guide implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and related technologies Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance Integrate multi-tier architecture through integrations and system configuration Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back-office implementations Create and document best practices and internal knowledge base articles Provide thought leadership on process improvement Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools Mentor, train, and enable resources How You'll Excel In Your Role: 4+ years of experience with Appian solutions 5+ years of related IT experience Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field Active Appian Lead Certification Strong experience with Agile delivery Technical implementation skills Database design and development skills Experience with system security testing Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support Deployment experience (Cloud, On-Premises, Hybrid) Networking concepts and troubleshooting Excellent communication and organizational skills This is a hybrid position (on-site in McLean VA / remote) Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess or be eligible for a security clearance Required Technologies: RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) Authentication protocols (SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP) Web services, Integrations, Middleware (RESTful/SOAP, Mule, IIB, Fusion) Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Source Control (Git, SVN, CVS) Troubleshooting and performance tuning Preferred Skills: Programming/Scripting (Java, C++, C#, Perl, Python) Data management and BI Content management (CMIS, Alfresco, OpenText) DevSecOps, Machine Learning, AI Networking, Application Servers, Web Servers, Operating Systems Benefits: Medical, dental, vision plans Flexible Spending Account 4% 401K Match Paid Time Off Professional development opportunities Flexible work schedule On-site gym and childcare options Compensation Range: $103,930 - $184,078, based on experience and qualifications.
