About the Role We are looking for a dynamic Vice President of Data Strategy and Analytics to lead the charge in developing and executing a comprehensive data strategy aligned with our long-term business objectives. In this pivotal role, you will: Foster a data-first culture throughout the organization. Oversee the creation of a robust data infrastructure. Lead the implementation of advanced analytics and AI to fuel business transformation. Ensure data is recognized as a core asset. Collaborate with teams to translate and address business demands with actionable data solutions. Establish and promote best practices for data quality, governance, and stewardship. Design modern data ecosystems that empower teams with reliable, self-service analytics. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 10 years’ experience in data engineering, analytics, or data science. At least 5 years in a leadership position. A proven track record in building and scaling data platforms and analytics functions, particularly in fast-paced environments. Advanced expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes. Experience with cloud infrastructure and practical applications of AI and machine learning for business problem-solving. Exceptional communication skills and a strong understanding of the eCommerce or manufacturing sectors. You will also be responsible for building and mentoring high-performing teams within data engineering, data science, and analytics functions. Travel requirement is less than 10%.
