Description: As the Lead Data Modeler, you will leverage your extensive knowledge in data modeling and data architecture to create impactful data models for essential initiatives. Your passion for coaching and mentoring will be key as you guide a talented team of data modelers working within agile, autonomous squads across various product areas. Collaborating with other leaders, you'll set the standards for your Center of Excellence (CoE), influence strategic decisions, and foster innovative solutions to support business scalability. This hands-on role requires you to continuously enhance your expertise and share your knowledge with your team, driving a culture of innovation in data strategy. By working closely with both business and technical teams, you will develop scalable, flexible, and detailed data models that enhance product offerings and accelerate market readiness. The team partners with project teams to deliver practical and resilient data modeling and database designs that meet business requirements while following best practices. You will advocate for the adoption of enterprise standards and promote necessary changes in processes, standards, or technologies. Responsibilities: Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and technical resources to gather information requirements and deliver effective data modeling solutions. Enhance analysis of business requirements and provide well-architected and efficient data models. Develop guidelines and standards for design checklists, governance processes, and maintaining data repositories. Mentor and guide junior data modelers. Experience Requirements: Expertise in Data Modeling including Conceptual, Logical, Physical, 3nF, and Dimensional at both project and enterprise levels. Proficiency in Dimensional Modeling with experience in creating conformed dimensions usable across Business Units. Familiarity with Data Modeling Tools such as PowerDesigner, Oracle Designer, or Erwin. Experience collaborating with Data Engineering and Data Analytics teams. Strong SQL skills for querying data (preferably ANSI SQL). General knowledge of AI technologies, techniques, and trends. Exceptional analytical skills and ability to communicate complex data structures to non-technical audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing abilities. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.
