Join an esteemed leader in the financial services sector as a Senior Product Data Scientist on a remote, 6+ month contract. We are looking for a passionate individual who excels in developing machine learning and deep learning solutions that enhance intelligent decision-making and drive innovative product development. In this role, you will: Design, build, and evaluate machine learning and deep learning models for various applications such as classification, regression, recommendation systems, NLP, computer vision, and time-series forecasting. Utilize deep learning techniques (CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, Transformers) to tackle complex, data-rich challenges. Lead the development of AI products from initial prototyping through to production deployment, performance monitoring, and iterative improvement. Select optimal architectures and hyperparameters, enhance model performance, and apply relevant evaluation metrics (AUC, F1, BLEU, IoU, perplexity) according to the specific use case. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to transform business challenges into deployable AI/ML solutions. Design automated workflows for data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and real-time/historical inference. Monitor deployed models, assess performance over time, and create retraining pipelines within a robust MLOps framework. Mentor junior data scientists and foster technical discussions among cross-functional teams. To be considered, you should have: Over 5 years of industry experience in applied machine learning, with at least 2 years specializing in deep learning and neural networks. A background in banking, payments, or financial services, with a focus on developing AI data solutions to enhance customer insights and market strategies. Expertise in Python and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch. A solid understanding of neural networks, regularization techniques, and GPU-accelerated training. A proven history of deploying machine learning models at scale in production scenarios. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), alongside skills in containerization and model serving technology. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related field is required; a master's or PhD is highly preferred. As a W2 employee with Eliassen Group, you will receive excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k with matching, and life insurance. The pay rate for this position ranges from $75 to $87 per hour. Eliassen Group embraces diversity, providing equal opportunity to all qualified applicants. We welcome your application!
