Join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (ProServe) team as a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect (PCA). In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers to grasp their technical requirements and business objectives, designing and deploying custom cloud solutions that cater to their specific needs.
As a pivotal member of the pre-sales process, you will offer invaluable technical expertise and guidance to support our customers throughout their cloud journey. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Creating innovative, complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions that drive significant business outcomes (CBOs) for our customers.
Providing technical advice and best practices during both the pre-sales and implementation phases.
Working collaboratively with Account Managers and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure the viability and achievability of proposed solutions.
Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, keeping them informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
Sharing your expertise within the organization through mentoring, training sessions, and the creation of reusable artifacts.
Your success as a PCA will directly influence the signing of Statements of Work (SOWs) and the successful implementation of solutions that not only meet but exceed customer satisfaction (CSAT) expectations. This position requires you to work from our specified locations or customer sites at least one day a week, as this is not a remote role.

Qualifications include:
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and the design and implementation of cloud solutions.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred: Advanced technology degree or AWS Professional level certifications.
Thorough understanding of AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
Knowledge of security and compliance standards such as HIPAA and GDPR.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
