Lead Network/Systems Administrator

GovCIO is excited to announce an opportunity for a Lead Network/Systems Administrator who holds an active Secret clearance. This position offers the flexibility of fully remote work. Key Responsibilities: Establish and manage the effective operation of computer systems, ensuring seamless integration of operating systems, software, and hardware. Document and implement new methods that enhance network/system operations, while consulting with support teams and customers to resolve technical issues. Launch and maintain operation and maintenance activities for networks/servers, identifying and addressing recurring problems. Utilize system software for monitoring performance and managing system data to uphold optimal efficiencies. Administer computer networks, including hardware, systems software, and applications software, while coordinating network/system security measures to safeguard data. Conduct regular monitoring and analysis for both short and long-term planning of in-house systems. Create and ensure the accuracy of operational documentation. Write or modify scripts to enhance performance and automate administrative tasks. Recommend improvements to systems and network configurations, assessing hardware and software needs accordingly. Qualifications: High School diploma with 9+ years of experience in systems administration or a related field. Active Secret clearance required. About GovCIO:
