JOB OBJECTIVE As a ServiceNow Developer II, you will play a vital role in crafting, developing, and configuring both out-of-the-box and custom applications on the ServiceNow platform. In this mid-level position, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals while adhering to development best practices. You will be instrumental throughout the software development lifecycle, engaging in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Platform Development:

Design and configure ServiceNow applications and modules based on comprehensive business requirements, ensuring adherence to coding best practices and optimal performance, consistently meeting SLAs. Custom Application Development:

Create, maintain, and enhance custom applications on the ServiceNow platform, utilizing workflows, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts. Integration:

Execute seamless integrations between ServiceNow and various third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, ensuring secure and efficient communication. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:

Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in the ServiceNow environment, providing top-notch support to manage incidents and problems effectively. Collaborative Problem Solving:

Work synergistically with cross-functional teams to gather and refine technical requirements, translating them into robust solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Testing & Documentation:

Conduct thorough unit testing and actively participate in peer code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and comprehensive technical documentation. Platform Maintenance:

Assist in the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of existing ServiceNow instances, overseeing updates, patching, and upgrades. Continuous Improvement:

Remain informed of ServiceNow's new features, releases, and development trends, using this knowledge to optimize platform performance and user experience. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Certifications such as ITIL v3, ServiceNow System Administration/Development, and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) are preferred. Additional certifications in ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, HAM, GRC, or HRSD are highly desirable. WORK EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING Minimum of five (5) years of software development experience across any platform (Web, Mobile, Desktop). At least two (2) years of relevant experience in ServiceNow design and implementation. Experience of three (3) years in maintaining and supporting applications, focusing on incident management, request management, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Business Rules, Script Includes, and workflows. Proficiency in API integration using SOAP, REST, JSON, XML. Familiarity with front-end technologies including AngularJS, HTML, JavaScript, CSS. Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies is a plus. Solid understanding of the ITIL framework and ITSM processes. Experience with additional ServiceNow modules like ITOM, HRSD, CSM, orothers. SKILLS AND ABILITIES Confidence in engaging in technical discussions at all levels to ensure adherence to architectural correctness. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and end users. Adaptable to changing priorities while managing multiple projects and deadlines. Independent work ethic with excellent time management capabilities. Demonstrated data management and reporting skills. OTHER WORK CONDITIONS Work hours: 2 PM to 11 PM Manila time. Observe US holidays. Available for extended work hours as needed.
