Join Amazon's Project Kuiper, a cutting-edge low Earth orbit satellite broadband initiative designed to provide fast, reliable internet to underserved communities and organizations worldwide. As part of our Kuiper Production Operations team, we are seeking a motivated Systems Security Developer to enhance and implement critical security controls across the Kuiper organization.
In this role, you will be a vital part of the Kuiper Enterprise Technology team, responsible for overseeing the development and execution of security processes to meet stringent compliance standards. Work collaboratively with various teams including Kuiper security, infrastructure, and service teams, driving innovative automation and process improvements throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Automate and deploy robust security controls.
Aid in certifications and assessments by liaising with stakeholders, auditors, and Kuiper service teams.
Continuously enhance the Kuiper compliance program through innovative project management and control implementation.
Capture and track security metrics to meet compliance goals.
Develop comprehensive dashboards and alerts for automated controls.
Communicate progress and expectations clearly to management, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
Deliver actionable recommendations and risk assessments in an audience-appropriate manner.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipeline processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with distributed systems at scale.
Compensation is competitive, ranging from $116,300 to $201,200 per year based on various factors. This position will remain open until filled. Applicants are encouraged to apply via our career site.
