JOB SUMMARY
Join our team as a CDL Driver, where your primary responsibility will be the timely and efficient delivery and pickup of containers to various customer locations. We pride ourselves on providing effective and incident-free services while building strong relationships with our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites, adhering to all safety rules.
Conduct and log daily pre and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift.
Be flexible and accept add-on deliveries as needed to fulfill business requirements.
Utilize a company-provided handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as needed.
Keep containers clean and inspect them to ensure they are presentable for customers.
Assist with coordinating rental paperwork and payment with customers.
Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries or issues, and prepare driver notes as necessary.
Perform on-site repairs of containers and lifts as required.
Support storage center functions when needed.
Maintain a clean truck cab by keeping it free from debris inside and outside.
Be ready to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position typically reports to Management, with direct supervisors such as Market Manager or Territory Manager. Please note that this role is not responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination, pay decisions, or performance management).
PAY RANGE:
$28.00 per hour GENERAL BENEFITS:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Valid CDL Class B License required without air brake restriction. Maintaining a current/valid driver’s license is mandatory. Must meet the PODS Driver Qualification Standards. Candidate must be at least 21 years old (insurance requirement). Possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or be able to obtain a minimum of a one-year certification (DOT requirement). Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred. Capable of performing basic math skills as required by the role. Or have an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience. Willingness to attend the required two-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
