JOB SUMMARY:

Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes in industrial plant by performing the following duties. Will assume supervisor responsibilities as defined by Operations Manager.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:

Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.

Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.

Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.

Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials or parts, and evaluated products according to specifications and quality standards.

Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.

Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.

Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.

Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Works well in group problem solving situations.

Will work daily with production operators and become intimate with production equipment to solve problems and improve machine run times.

Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent. This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the City of Industry, CA location. Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelors' degree in engineering or a relevant field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering in a manufacturing environment. Must have metal working (forming, rolling etc) experience, preferred in the aerospace fastener industry. 5 Years Experience in Engineering preferred.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is frequently required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Compensation In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $95,000-$110,000. Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
