POSITION SUMMARY
The
Senior
IT Project Manager
is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing technology projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. They are crucial in bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
COMPENSATION
This position offers a competitive compensation package, benchmarked to regional market standards. It consists of a base salary plus the opportunity for quarterly profit sharing after one year of employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning and Coordination :
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones. Coordinate and manage resources, both internal and external, to achieve project goals.
Stakeholder Management :
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Communicate project status, risks, and updates through regular meetings and reports. Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams and resolve conflicts.
Risk Management :
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and adjust plans to address any delays or issues.
Execution and Delivery :
Oversee day-to-day operations of the project team. Ensure adherence to project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Maintain quality standards and ensure deliverables meet business requirements.
Budget and Resource Management :
Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting costs. Ensure optimal use of resources while staying within budgetary constraints.
Technology Oversight :
Work with IT teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with company infrastructure. Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend solutions when applicable.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or relevant work experience. 5+ years of IT Project Management experience. Proven experience managing IT projects in software development, infrastructure, or cybersecurity. Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project). Understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC). Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to collaborate with diverse teams, including developers, engineers, and business leaders.
NICE TO HAVE
Advanced certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner). Familiarity with cloud technologies, networking, or database systems.

Operating hours for PTRs offices are MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. ET

IT Project Manager
