Business Systems Analyst - Claims Processing

Job Description Job Summary Are you a proactive individual with a knack for problem-solving and analytical thinking? We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst who balances business acumen and technical insight. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive research and analysis of healthcare and pharmacy claims data to identify effective solutions for remediation, specifically supporting Patient Liability and Medicaid processes. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough research and analysis addressing inquiries using technical tools to deliver timely feedback and resolutions in compliance with Service Level Agreements. Collaborate on special projects initiated by internal departments or regulatory agencies, ensuring alignment with external organizational requests. Manage project timelines and documentation, coordinating activities and data collection both internally and with external partners. Translate business needs into detailed application and operational requirements. Develop and document comprehensive workflows outlining operational processes and procedures. Prioritize projects based on business impact and requirements. Contribute actively to project tasks and initiatives as necessary. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes. Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Aptitude for deriving actionable insights from data analysis. Quick learner with a strong ability to resolve complex challenges. Experience in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Background in documentation and facilitating meetings. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Familiarity with healthcare industry standards, concepts, terminology, and practices. Knowledge in Claims and SQL is a plus. Job Qualifications Required Education Associate degree or equivalent experience. Required Experience 1-3 years in a related field. Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
