The Solutions Architect for SAFe Implementation drives the Supply Chain Management Product Line DevSecOps and Integration program by evaluating the business needs of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and determining how technology can best meet those needs. This role is crucial for aligning IT strategies with corporate objectives while improving technical solutions that support VA's mission. As a vital communication link between IT and business operations, the architect ensures that all stakeholders collaborate in developing and implementing effective technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: Analyze the current architecture and create a target architecture for Health portfolio IT systems. Develop systems roadmaps and disposition diagrams. Design enterprise system architecture aimed at modernizing systems utilizing cloud-based technologies and adhering to agency guidelines (e.g., Human Centered Design, Zero Trust Architecture). Create architecture artifacts, including operational views (OVs) and systems views (SVs) for complex systems integration using the DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF). Collaborate with partners and technical teams to develop interface control documents and establish system interface connections. Determine system architecture requirements and priorities in conjunction with stakeholders, proposing alternate solutions as needed. Evaluate alternate solutions to identify the most effective technical solution for current business challenges. Stay abreast of advancing cloud capabilities, aligning IT and business needs, and proposing cost-effective solutions for collaborative decision-making. Architect solutions employing application monitoring and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies to automate the building, testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications. Contribute to an agile DevSecOps environment focusing on assessment, design, development, re-architecture, deployment, and operations, continually refining cloud program and operational frameworks for effective cloud migration. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse group of staff, stakeholders, and customers. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Math, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in developing solution architecture for high-visibility enterprise IT systems. Ability to create complex IT systems architecture diagrams with detailed technical and interface information. Familiarity with architecture artifacts such as operational views (OVs) and systems views (SVs) using the DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF). Certification in SAFe Solution Architecture or relevant cloud technologies (AWS). Demonstrated experience in cloud infrastructure and application platform technology solutions across the lifecycle of large-scale, complex enterprise projects. Experience with Core Infrastructure, Application Development, Data and Analytics, and Low Code/No Code environments. U.S. Citizenship is required, and candidates must be able to pass a background check for Public Trust (Tier 2) positions. Other Qualifications: Prior experience within the Federal Government or Veterans Affairs is preferred. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong aptitude for fostering collaboration within dynamic team environments. Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels. Possession of an active Public Trust (Tier 2) clearance is advantageous. Compensation:

Compensation for this role generally ranges from $120,100 to $160K, depending on various factors including location, skills, education, certifications, client requirements, and experience. EEO Requirements:
