Position Overview As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Zelis, you will help modernize and scale our technology infrastructure by driving CI/CD, cloud automation, and achieving operational excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned DevOps professional eager to thrive in a collaborative environment focused on automation and secure, reliable infrastructure. What You Will Do: Build, scale, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps. Automate deployment and testing workflows using scripting tools like PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Implement security best practices to safeguard applications and data. Support cloud infrastructure with a focus on automation, observability, and resilience. Measure, monitor, and report on system health using SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs. Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations to optimize workflows. Participate in quarterly planning and collaboration sessions (travel to NJ as needed). Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and pipeline issues efficiently and proactively. Qualifications: 3-6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or build/release engineering roles. Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, especially GitHub and Git-based repositories. Solid understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Azure (AWS or GCP is also beneficial). Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor or Splunk. Knowledge of SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for performance and reliability monitoring. Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating effectively across multiple functions. Willingness to travel (~20%) for planning and collaboration sessions. Nice to Have: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates). Exposure to package management systems like NPM or NuGet. Background in DevSecOps and experience embedding security into CI/CD workflows. A strong passion for automation and system reliability improvement. This Role Is Not:
