Role Overview
This position is based in Philadelphia, PA and will require 3 days in-office per week. We prefer Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for in-office attendance.
Your Impact
As the Vice President of Project Management and PMO, you will lead the evolution of our company's capabilities and play a critical role in strategic planning and executing a portfolio of essential projects and programs. Your objective will be to enhance our project management processes to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction. You will work closely with Engineering, Data Warehouse, Service Delivery, and Sales teams, while also coordinating reporting mechanisms to provide a unified source of truth on performance.

Influence organizational strategies for managing technology implementations, driving continuous improvement and consistency.
Build and showcase expertise in your assigned initiatives to ensure project success.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of proficient project managers focused on excellence across various functions.
Engage teams to define and achieve business outcomes, facilitating clear delegation and coaching.
Establish and implement top-tier project management processes, methodologies, and standards for successful delivery.
Develop a routine reporting cadence to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance for software, data, and services projects.
Communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and demonstrate operational efficiency.
Drive the adoption of innovative PMO methodologies for perpetual improvement.
Facilitate cross-departmental adherence to company processes, standards, and reporting guidelines.
Manage the professional growth of project managers to enhance retention and development.
Success Metrics
Develop an effective project management framework that enhances collaboration and execution.
Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders to align efforts and improve efficiency.
Create a structured reporting system with clear KPIs for informed decision-making.

Qualifications
10+ years of experience leading a Program Management function, preferably in data, technical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, financial services, or military sectors.
A college degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
PMP certification is essential.
Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of operational practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
Capability to transform abstract concepts into actionable initiatives.
Strategic thinker with operational execution skills and attention to detail.
Outstanding communication skills; able to translate complex analyses into clear messages for leadership.
Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects or programs using Agile methodologies.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $170,000 to $195,000, plus an annual bonus opportunity. HealthVerity provides competitive benefits, including health, dental, and vision coverage starting on day one, generous paid time off, flexible work arrangements, and professional development support.
