Amazon Web Services (AWS) is actively seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Security Solutions Architect to assist customers in migrating AI workloads to the cloud securely and compliantly. As the ideal candidate, you will enhance customer trust and security while helping design and operate secure, cloud-native workloads. Your role will involve: Collaborating with Amazonians, partners, and customers to design and build secure applications and capabilities. Creating solutions that automate security, risk, and compliance within AWS. Providing expert security guidance for AI technologies to ensure secure and compliant deployments. Staying current with evolving AI security threats and defensive mechanisms to enhance our customer guidance. Developing high-quality technical artifacts, including automation tools, reference architectures, and white papers. Advising AWS customers on cloud computing security, risk management, and compliance best practices. Working cross-functionally within AWS to promote the adoption of security products. Mentorship opportunities across AWS sales and solutions teams to cultivate security skills. Representing AWS at industry events through engaging security presentations and workshops. The ideal candidate will have: 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, security, and data analytics. 4+ years in IT development or consulting in the software or internet sectors. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, computer engineering, or relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, including executives. Experience in cloud migration and transforming legacy solutions. Hands-on expertise in securing Large Language Models (LLM) and multimodal models. Advanced degree in a related field and relevant industry certifications (CISSP, CISA/M, CCSP) will be beneficial. 8+ years of experience in security architecture, engineering, application security, and related areas. Our competitive compensation reflects varying labor costs across the US and includes a base pay range from $138,200 to $239,000, depending on market location and individual expertise. Additionally, equity, sign-on bonuses, and comprehensive benefits are part of the total compensation package. This position will remain open until filled.
