What You'll Be Doing: As a key member of our Information Security team, you will play a vital role in supporting our security and vulnerability management program. Your contributions will help us ensure the safety of Evolent's systems and assets. Responsibilities: Manage and enhance the security, threat, and vulnerability management program, adhering to established policies. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify process gaps and recommend improvements. Expand scanning coverage to ensure comprehensive risk assessments. Enhance the security posture of Docker images, web applications, and other assets through collaboration and coordinated remediation efforts. Conduct health checks for security management tools and update asset information. Develop and maintain metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for security management. Engage in discussions with stakeholders to address vulnerabilities and reduce risks. Prioritize remediation efforts based on threat intelligence and vulnerability assessments. Promote collaboration with platform owners and application teams to increase awareness of risks. Coordinate with IT infrastructure partners for strategic initiatives. Communicate potential impacts of loss events to stakeholders effectively. Create reports and dashboards using security tools like SIEM to present actionable insights. Assist in crafting Standard Operating Procedures and Working Instructions for security and vulnerability management. Required Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Security, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of experience in security, vulnerability management, or a similar discipline. You should have experience with patch management processes, along with proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows and Linux environments. Knowledge of security principles, vulnerability ratings, and a commitment to staying informed about emerging threats is essential. Experience with tools such as Tenable or Qualys is a plus. Strong analytical and communication skills are required, and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are preferred. The expected salary range for this position is $88,300 - $128,100, along with performance-based bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
