Senior Network Software Engineer
to join our team at AWS. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and optimizing the Scalable Reliable Datagram (SRD) technology, a critical transport protocol designed to enhance network performance within Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a member of our team, your primary responsibilities will include: Designing, deploying, and maintaining the SRD code base to ensure reliability and scalability. Conducting extensive network simulations to evaluate performance and identify bottlenecks. Troubleshooting network issues and implementing effective solutions to minimize data loss and latency. Refining and improving SRD system performance based on your understanding of networking protocols and AWS infrastructure. Mentoring junior team members and leading projects aimed at advancing SRD capabilities. Staying updated with industry trends and integrating them into our network service strategy. Why Join Us? Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data-center networking and network simulators. Knowledge of large-scale distributed environments and storage/transport protocols.
