As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will collaborate closely with applied scientists, economists, data/software engineers, and product managers to build data solutions that support complex statistical and econometric modeling. This modeling is essential for optimizing company-wide financial allocations and evaluating substantial investments aimed at enhancing Prime services.
Your responsibilities will include:
Creating data pipelines and visualizing data insights that inform strategic business decisions.
Developing ETL designs that are efficient, scalable, and flexible, as well as implementing complex SQL queries.
Utilizing tools such as Amazon Redshift and Spark for data analysis and processing.
Designing and delivering impactful visualizations using Amazon Quicksight, Tableau, or similar tools.
Providing technical leadership and mentoring for other BI engineers across Amazon Prime.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data using Redshift, Oracle, or NoSQL.
Proficient in data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
Experienced in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Amazon Quicksight.
Strong skills in writing complex SQL queries.
Experience with scripting (Python) to process data for modeling.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with AWS solutions including EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
Experience in data mining and using databases within large-scale business environments.
