SUMMARY: Responsible for the collection, recording, and retrieval of information maintained in multiple district information technology systems for academic and auditing purposes. Provide training and guidance to staff regarding state, federal, and district compliance as well as department processes. Maintain electronic and/or paper files, ensuring they comply with federal, state and district guidelines.
In this particiular assignment - Duties will include working with Transportation Schedulers/Dispatchers to ensure bus routes/stops are accessible for highly mobile students and coordination delays are minimized during housing transitions, communicating with families, and collect and synthesize data.

Maintain, monitor, and manage accurate database(s) according to federal and state laws and district policies and procedures. Retrieve, export, review, monitor, and track data for both internal and external reports relevant to district, state, and federal reporting. Analyze data to ensure the accuracy for district, state, federal, and grant reporting.
Process documents and information to ensure they are sufficient, complete, and in compliance with federal, state, and district policies and procedures. Communicate with stakeholders regarding missing information and/or potential inaccuracies. Enter, record, store or maintain records using the district document management system ensuring accuracy and completeness. Convert hardcopy files into electronic files. Export data from multiple databases to compile and prepare reports as requested.
Provide customer service to schools and parents. Provide training and guidance to staff and parents regarding state, federal, district compliance, and department processes
Assist the Information Technology (IT) Department during October Count and End of Year reporting for verification and correction of data for reporting purposes to the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) and other state or federal agencies. Assist with other state, federal, grant reporting throughout the year as needed.
Collaborate with the records management team to ensure compliance regarding record policies, standard operating procedures, and suggestions to improve record keeping. Provide assistance to staff on processing records to ensure district and state compliance.
Perform other job related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years' experience working with database and spreadsheet applications.
Associate degree preferred.
Spanish/Bilingual preferred.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS:
Criminal background check required for hire.
For this assignment only (Transportation Liaison support), will need to obtain a district small vehicle license upon hire
SALARY INFORMATION:
All Classified positions are paid on an hourly basis. All Newly hired classified employees are placed initially on Step 1 of the pay grade for their position. Classified employees can advance an additional 7 steps (maximum Step 8) based on their previous experience. Final hourly placement on the Classified Salary schedule is dependent on the Grade Level for the position being posted and employees’ previous work experience. “Grade” refers to position or job classification and “Step” refers to the number of work experience credit or service years.
