The Senior Data and Reporting Analyst plays a crucial role in a dynamic and deadline-driven team comprising consulting and operations staff, all aligned in providing exceptional service to state education agencies and school districts. This position centers around special education management systems, data warehousing, federal reporting, and various other programs. The Analyst is tasked with reviewing, formatting, importing, exporting, transforming, validating, and modeling data to facilitate strategic and operational decision-making. This role is ideal for seasoned analysts who are comfortable balancing high-level data analysis with hands-on responsibilities like data processing. While the position does not require immediate supervisory capabilities, we value candidates who are open to future leadership opportunities. Key Position Requirements: Project Management:

Manage smaller projects by defining scope, schedules, and collaborating with stakeholders. For larger initiatives, work alongside a dedicated project manager. Documentation:

Ensure comprehensive documentation for all data projects, detailing scope and requirements for effective data engineering management and validation. Data Analysis:

Profile datasets, identify patterns, extend PCG's Data Schemas, document validation and transformation protocols, and conduct analytics and visualizations. Data Engineering:

A fundamental understanding of programming logic is essential, although experience with a specific language isn’t required. Prepare to write scripts, queries, and procedures to automate ETL processes. Communication Skills:

Strong communication skills are vital for effectively interfacing with clients and team members, presenting findings, and understanding pertinent concerns. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain data documentation such as data dictionaries and flow diagrams for EDPlan processes. Support clients by resolving issues, offering user support, and collaborating on design specifications for report requests. Prepare data analyses and agendas for client meetings. Travel when necessary for client status updates. Document client discussions, gather requirements, and work closely with technical teams on evolving data structure and reporting needs. Engage in software implementation activities, including data migration, integration, and project management. Oversee and perform data quality assurance, testing, and validation. Assist school districts in uploading data into our systems. Essential Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail, along with the ability to organize and interpret data. Proficient in MS Office Suite: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Expertise in scripting, macros, and data wrangling techniques. Strong organizational, presentation, and written communication abilities. Capacity to work independently while fostering teamwork and collaboration. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Visio, MS Project, Zendesk, and JIRA. Project management and research expertise. Familiarity with Python, SQL, SAP Business Objects, SIF Unity, or similar data platforms. Experience Required: Bachelor's degree or relevant data analysis experience. Over 5 years in data analysis, especially in technical and client-facing roles. Leadership experience or interest in mentoring team members. At least 1 year of relevant experience in K-12 education, special education, or Medicaid claiming preferred. Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000.
