As a key member of the Delivery Technology Organization, you will help design and build highly scalable distributed systems that provide fast, fluid, and interactive experiences for mobile users around the globe. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the foundational elements of the Amazon Flex platform, which supports numerous feature teams and enables hundreds of thousands of delivery partners. Engage in a culture that values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and architectural discussions to continually improve our systems. Leverage your expertise in engineering practices and robust system design to maintain platform stability and operational efficiency. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of professional software development experience. 5+ years of programming experience in at least one software programming language. 5+ years leading the design or architecture of both new and existing systems, with a focus on design patterns, reliability, and scaling. Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
