Senior Data Scientist - AWS Professional Services

Your role will involve: Leading comprehensive AI/ML and GenAI projects from business needs assessment to data preparation, model development, solution deployment, and post-production monitoring. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, evaluate AI algorithms, and build ML systems using AWS services. Engaging directly with customers to unravel their business challenges and guide them through AI adoption and implementation. Creating and delivering best practices, tutorials, publications, and sample code for various stakeholders. Providing market feedback to product and engineering teams to influence product strategies. Basic Qualifications: Master's degree in a quantitative field like computer science, machine learning, or statistics with 5+ years of experience; or Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience. 5+ years of experience in building machine learning models. 3+ years of hands-on experience with transformer models in production. Experience with cloud machine learning services such as Amazon SageMaker. Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts. Preferred Qualifications: PhD in a related quantitative field. AWS experience with a variety of services including SageMaker and certifications like Solutions Architect Professional. 2+ years of experience with AI agent design and orchestration. Experience in deep learning using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. Proven record of deploying AI applications on AWS. Expertise in building ML pipelines with MLOps best practices.
