We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Manager for our Data Science team at PepsiCo. This role is integral to supporting our innovative global digital initiatives focused on supply chain optimization and network design. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team based in Dallas, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge analytics solutions.
As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will:
Contribute actively to the development and implementation of advanced statistical, optimization, simulation, and machine learning models.
Work closely with process and product owners to ensure alignment and execution of our analytics roadmap.
Engage with data scientists to refine prototypes and pilot projects, maintaining a strong focus on experiment tracking.
Support the creation and deployment of efficient, scalable models.
Participate in innovation activities, continually striving to optimize and enhance analytics quality.
In this position, you will also embrace the role of an internal ambassador for our data-driven culture, fostering collaboration and sharing your expertise across the organization.
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected salary range for this role is $89,000 - $149,000, based on location, skills, experience, and education. In addition, you will be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus of 10%. Qualifications:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in delivering production-level analytic solutions.
Proficiency in ETL processes and data wrangling techniques.
Strong foundation in statistical and machine learning techniques for both supervised and unsupervised problems.
Expertise in Python development, particularly in relation to statistical modeling.
Experience with Supply Chain Network Design and mathematical optimization.
Creative problem-solving skills, especially in designing heuristics and algorithms for complex problems.
Preferred qualifications include:
Experience in causal inference, forecasting, and object-oriented programming.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools.
Knowledge of cloud services such as Azure, Docker, and experience with design and management of APIs.
