Job Summary:

The Program Manager of Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Projects oversee the daily operations of the PSH Program which includes interacting with private community-based landlords and the coordination and delivery of case management services. This position works collaboratively with tenants, partner agencies, community , stake holders, and the property owners to ensure tenants live in safe and decent affordable housing and receive the supportive services that are needed. This position must be committed to working toward the goal of helping tenants obtain and maintain housing.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow federal, state, and local Fair Housing laws to ensure equity within Homefull’s PSH programs.

Assure the delivery of community-based case management services in the areas of independent living skills, community integration events, employment, benefits establishment, and other services as needed to assist tenants in reaching case plan goals.

Maintain optimal program participation.

Assure client case records are maintained according to agency policies and procedures and HMIS policies and procedures;

Assure high standard of client care, contributing to an environment where all clients are treated with dignity and respect.

Develop, mentor and supervise a team of professional case management staff.

Contributing to quality assurance outcomes for the PSH programs and meet productivity requirements for Community Psychiatric Services Treatment (CPST) and overall units of service of the PSH team.

Submitting reports/spreadsheets as needed;

Reviews tenant applications for eligibility based on project guidelines.

Manage and resolve all property-level management issues.

Facilitate ongoing meetings between case management teams and program providers.

Monitor overall move-in, stabilization, and community support with partner agencies during the initial lease up process and fills vacancies on an ongoing basis.

Assure monthly expectations and annual recertifications.

Attends regular in-house training and informational meetings.

In consultation with supervision submit requested information for audits, inspections and annual reports to funders, specifically CSB.

Other Duties:

Represent Homefull in a professional manner at work, at all events, and on all social media outlets.

Develop and deliver clear, concise, accurate and professional verbal, written, and electronic communications.

Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with tact and diplomacy.

Respond to emails, calls, mail, in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors’ degree in social services, non-profit management or related field.

Strong people skills and ability to deescalate difficult situations.

Ability to compose and prepare reports, emails, and documents professionally.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Self-directed, proactive and able to anticipate needs with the ability to take initiative.

Ability to perform responsibilities within determined time frames with a high degree of accuracy.

Proven experience in a nonprofit or similar role preferably for at least 2 years.

Proficiency in email communication video conferencing tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Preference given for experience in Yardi property management software.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently while paying attention to detail.

Excellent people skills, professional demeanor, and strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to anticipate needs and proactively address issues.

Abilities Required

Superb oral and written communications skills, and computer skills including Word, Excel, and Power Point. Reliable transportation.
