In this role, you will: Design and develop highly distributed components for our advertising systems. Collaborate closely with senior engineers to create new and cutting-edge ad products. Engage with product management, business development, and partner teams to brainstorm innovative ideas and formulate technical designs. Utilize data-driven insights to help prioritize product development. Stay ahead of the curve by adopting emerging AWS technologies relevant to AdTech use cases. Exercise creativity and innovative thinking in your approach to challenges. This is an exciting opportunity for self-motivated engineers with a solid foundation in building low-latency and high-volume ad serving systems. Experience with big data queries and analytics is a plus, as these are essential to our work. Our technology stack primarily includes Java and AWS services. The AdTech Identity Program (AIP) team is committed to addressing current challenges in advertising technology, particularly the need for reliable customer identity establishment in a world without third-party cookies or device identifiers. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of professional software development experience. 2+ years of design or architecture experience in both new and existing systems. Proficiency in at least one programming language. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience through the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. We offer a competitive salary ranging from $114,800 to $191,800 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, Amazon provides a total compensation package that includes equity, sign-on bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
