We are seeking a seasoned SAP FICO Functional Consultant to spearhead the implementation of the Finance and Control (FICO) module for our organization. Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and document business requirements
related to financial accounting and management processes. Design and configure
the SAP FICO module to align with identified business needs, covering: General Ledger Accounting Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Asset Accounting Bank Accounting Cost Center Accounting Profit Center Accounting Product Costing Profitability Analysis Integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, CO) Customize and develop
SAP FICO solutions, including user exits, ABAP programs, and enhancements to bridge gaps between standard functionality and unique business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams
including finance teams, auditors, and other consultants for smooth integration and data flow. Conduct comprehensive testing , including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for correctness in configuration and functionality. Develop and implement training plans
to empower end-users with the knowledge of the configured SAP FICO processes and functionalities. Ensure compliance
with accounting standards, industry regulations, and internal control requirements. Provide post-implementation support , troubleshooting, and maintenance as needed. Document configurations, customizations, and best practices
for future reference and knowledge transfer. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in implementing and configuring the SAP FICO module. In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and management concepts. Strong functional knowledge of SAP FICO and its integration with other SAP modules. Experience in customizing SAP FICO solutions through ABAP programming. Familiarity with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and internal control frameworks. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Outstanding communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in implementing SAP FICO in manufacturing or high-tech industries. Knowledge of advanced financial reporting and consolidation processes. Project management experience and leadership of cross-functional teams. Understanding of tax and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Certification in SAP FICO (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting) is preferred.
