About Technical Operations BioMarin's Technical Operations group is responsible for creating drugs for clinical trials and scaling production for the market. Our team builds and maintains manufacturing processes, ensures quality standards, and manages the logistics of our drugs worldwide. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Analyst Lead to oversee the Plan to Produce workstream, focusing on Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance within a GxP-regulated environment. The role involves integrating processes across SAP, LIMS, WMS, MES, and QMS to ensure seamless, compliant operations. Key Responsibilities: Process Leadership & Integration: Lead SAP module design, configuration, and implementation to support production planning, shop floor execution, quality management, and material management. Facilitate integration between SAP and subsystems to ensure data consistency and process alignment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes in compliance with GxP standards. Manufacturing Support: Support manufacturing operations by configuring SAP to manage schedules, capacity, and traceability, ensuring alignment with workflows. Quality Control & Assurance: Oversee SAP QM module implementation to support quality processes, integrate with QMS, and ensure data traceability and compliance. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the main liaison between business units and IT, translating requirements into technical solutions. Lead workshops and review sessions to align on process improvements. Project Management & Delivery: Manage project execution from requirements gathering to go-live, maintaining documentation and ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements, staying updated on industry best practices and regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related; advanced degree preferred. 7+ years as an SAP Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in a lead role supporting Plan to Produce processes. Expertise in SAP modules (PP, QM, MM); SAP S/4HANA experience a plus. Experience integrating SAP with LIMS, WMS, MES, QMS in manufacturing or life sciences. Strong knowledge of GxP regulations (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, GMP). Experience with manufacturing workflows, batch management, and traceability. Excellent project management skills, familiar with MS Project, Jira, etc. Strong analytical and communication skills. SAP certifications preferred. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies. Familiarity with data analytics tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI. Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
