Project Kuiper aims to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites, providing high-speed, low-latency broadband connectivity to underserved communities worldwide. Export Control Requirement:

Due to applicable export control laws, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Your Responsibilities: Develop software for automated hardware test execution in collaboration with design and operations teams. Create automation software for lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, electronic loads, and high-speed oscilloscopes. Assist in the development and deployment of test systems for both development and production testing. Provide operational support for software used in development and production testing. Act as a technical leader, instilling best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. A Day in Your Role:

In this position, you'll develop and deliver test software for power avionics subsystems, focusing on both development and production testing. You will manage continuous delivery pipelines that enhance software development and ensure reliability. Your role will involve collaborating with engineers from various disciplines to design systems that foster confidence in the performance of satellite power avionics. You'll also provide operational support and liaise with teams to resolve production and testing challenges.

Our team's mission is to deliver high-quality production hardware subsystems for power delivery, attitude control, and propulsion control on the satellite bus. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operational experience. Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. Experience with setup and/or automation of hardware, including lab equipment. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust). Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience with a strong emphasis on best practices. Hands-on experience with control and automation of various lab equipment. Familiarity with satellite bus systems. Experience in low-level firmware development and integration. Knowledge of hardware-in-loop testing for automotive/aerospace systems. Proficient in developing software for manufacturing test systems in production environments. Experience with Linux/Unix environments. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build processes. Experience with PLM, MES, or ERP software systems. Compensation for this position varies between $129,300/year and $223,600/year, depending on geographic location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
