The Role As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the architecture, engineering, deployment, and maintenance of network technology. Collaborating with the software development team, you will support the deployment of software applications and design solutions to address issues related to new features, interoperability, and vulnerabilities. Your responsibilities will include: Researching, evaluating, developing, and supporting solutions for network deployments. Designing and executing test procedures, and creating technical documentation. Assessing operational business processes to ensure security is integrated appropriately. Engaging in advanced troubleshooting and collaborating with stakeholders. Identifying risks associated with new applications and providing security recommendations for risk mitigation. Consulting on security issues with network architects and engineers. Delivering timely reports and findings to management and executive leadership. Recommending new security policies, standards, and best practices. Coordinating activities across multiple departments and business units. What We Look For in a Candidate We seek candidates with the following qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 6+ years of experience in networking, technology management, or security operations. Strong technical knowledge of current and emerging technologies. Proven experience in network design and troubleshooting, especially with TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLAN, IPSec, VPN, and Firewalls. Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef. Experience in system, network, or security administration on Unix platforms. Active TS clearance with current SSBI/T5R investigation and CI Polygraph. Compensation This position offers a competitive salary range of $91,266 - $121,688.
