Position Overview:
As a key member of our Platform Engineering organization, you will play a crucial role in managing our extensive application portfolio and cloud infrastructure. Your expertise as a Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Engineer will be vital as we transform our approach to cloud management and application reliability. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage containerization solutions using platforms like Docker and Kubernetes, with a strong emphasis on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Apps (ACA). Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub. Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and deploy them on Azure. Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized workloads on Azure. Adhere to security best practices to ensure the integrity of containerized workloads. Partner with Site Reliability Engineers to advance Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code disciplines. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in containerization. Document processes and configurations related to containerization. Mentor team members on microservices architecture and container orchestration. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with Azure, and 5+ years in cloud-native DevOps environments. A strong DevOps/SRE mindset with a passion for debugging complex systems. Proficient in scripting or programming languages like PowerShell or Python. Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform. Expertise in managing container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker. Deep understanding of deployment methodologies for Kubernetes, especially ArgoCD and Helm. Familiarity with additional Azure services like Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Service Fabric. Experience with CI/CD pipeline integrations using tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure Pipelines. Knowledge of Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR API) and Azure Health Data Services (AHDS) is a plus. Ability to work within an agile methodology, such as Scrumban. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to transparency. Bonus Qualifications: Experience with other CNCF projects like Dapr, Flux, or KEDA. A low-ego, collaborative mindset.
