Services: Strategy, Architecture, Planning, and Procurement Business Enablement Business Solutions Project Assurance PCG is hiring a Senior Consultant to manage a public sector state government project while supporting the building of the team and portfolio of projects in our Technology Consulting Practice Area. This Senior Consultant will serve as the primary point of contact for the State's project leadership, providing expert advice, assistance, and guidance to support a major ERP Migration project and ensuring all project requirements are met. The Senior Consultant will lead work with the support of the project team to provide Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services to the ERP migration project. Responsibilities include leadership, task coordination, and direct responsibility for deliverables and work products, which must be completed in accordance with our practice area's overall strategy, approach, and methodology. The consultant must ensure all assessments and deliverables are high-quality, comprehensive, and provide meaningful insights into the ERP Migration project. The candidate must be located in SC, GA, or NC. Broad experience in industries such as healthcare, finance, education, etc., technical competencies (big data, coding, project management, cloud/SaaS, power platform), and management approaches (Agile, Waterfall) are required. Duties and Responsibilities Project Delivery Lead project teams, provide direction, and keep stakeholders informed. Proactively solve complex client problems from pursuit through execution using a consultative mindset. Anticipate issues and blockers proactively. Identify and surface patterns related to root causes of problems. Assimilate research and complex data to inform recommendations. Lead or participate in project delivery activities, including analysis, deliverable creation, and communication of project performance and progress. Manage project teams across all SDLC phases, including analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, implementation, and oversight. Apply financial acumen to make business recommendations that improve project success. Business Development Support proposal responses, including writing and strategy development. Understand competitors and develop differentiation strategies. Deeply understand products and services, and help align them to market needs. Review RFPs, champion bid decisions, and influence opportunity decisions. Note: This description is general and not exhaustive of all duties, responsibilities, or skills. Required Qualifications: Experience with large-scale cloud-based ERP system implementation or technical project management of such systems (preferably SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA RISE Migration). IV&V experience with large HR/Financial system projects. Must be based in NC, SC, FL, or GA. At least 7 years of experience in technology. 5+ years in IV&V, project management, QA, or oversight for State governments, especially in enterprise HR/Financial systems, health, education, or related areas. Excellent writing and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Experience with systems in large-scale integrated environments. Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels. Self-starter with enthusiasm and political savvy. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university. Ability to travel regionally (~25%) and occasionally across the country. Subject Matter Expert on S/4HANA RISE migration. Preferred Technical Skills: SAP solutions (ECC to RISE), PeopleSoft, and other ERP systems. SAP tools such as SAP BW, Solution Manager, Business Objects, GRC, SuccessFactors, Work Manager Mobile, BTP. Third-party apps like BSI, Vertex, Nakisa, OnBase. Remote Work: This position is remote with travel requirements. PCG supports remote work and expects candidates to: Be available during set working hours. Have a private, distraction-free environment.
