Join our dynamic Alexa Audio team as a Senior Software Engineer! In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the audio experiences across Alexa-enabled devices, which encompass Music, Podcasts, Audiobooks, Radio, and Ambient soundscapes. Our integration skill kits facilitate seamless collaboration with various audio content providers like Amazon Music, Spotify, and Apple. As a key contributor, you will have the chance to influence the design, architecture, and implementation of features that millions enjoy daily. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers. Lead the development and maintenance of critical system features. Collaborate with team members to explore design approaches and evaluate technical feasibility. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software while adhering to strict timelines. Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of professional software development experience. Proficiency in at least one programming language. Experience in designing and architecting new and existing systems, with a focus on reliability and scalability. Experience mentoring or leading an engineering team. Preferred Qualifications: Comprehensive experience across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and code reviews. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proven track record in developing complex software systems from concept to launch. Strong knowledge of professional software engineering practices for full software development life cycle.
