Role Overview
The Senior Analyst role in Client Analytics offers a unique opportunity to engage with key business, product, analytics, and operational leaders to deliver valuable insights specific to our clients and drive data-informed decision-making. In this position, you will act as strategic advisors and subject matter experts, leveraging data to uncover meaningful business insights.
What You'll Be Doing:
Data Analytics & Insights:
Analyze healthcare claims and authorization data to identify cost drivers, utilization trends, and population health opportunities using tools such as SAS, SQL, Excel, and Power BI. Consultative Problem-Solving:
Collaborate with stakeholders to thoroughly understand business needs, clarify requirements, and develop actionable recommendations. Scalable Solution Development:
Enhance and standardize analytical solutions for both internal teams and external partners. Reporting & Compliance:
Efficiently support ad hoc and regulatory reporting needs, ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines. Communication & Storytelling:
Present findings through client-facing presentations, data-driven narratives, and visualizations that effectively convey insights. Collaboration:
Work in partnership with both internal and global teams to deliver high-quality analyses. Qualifications: Required:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Public Health). Required:
2+ years of analytics and reporting experience in healthcare, including medical economics and membership trend reporting. Required:
2+ years of SQL and SAS programming experience working with large healthcare datasets. Required:
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel skills. Required:
Proven ability to create impactful data visualizations and present insights using PowerPoint. Required:
Strong analytical skills for deriving meaningful insights from quantitative and qualitative data. Required:
A self-motivated problem solver able to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities. Required:
Effective collaborator who thrives in cross-functional environments. Preferred:
Master's degree in a quantitative field. Preferred:
Experience presenting actionable business insights to diverse stakeholders. Preferred:
Familiarity with value-based care, utilization management, or regulatory reporting. To comply with HIPAA security standards, identity verification may be required as part of the application process. The expected base salary for this position is $80,000-95,000, along with a bonus component based on performance.
