The Role
As a Software Development Engineer II, you will take ownership of end-to-end solutions, utilizing technology to tackle complex challenges within the podcast ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include:
Designing, developing, and deploying new tools, services, and applications, all while maintaining high standards for code quality.
Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Participating in an on-call rotation, addressing issues promptly while communicating effectively with stakeholders and customers.
Familiarity with the ads domain will enhance your contributions to the team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of professional software development experience.
2+ years of experience in system design or architecture.
Proficient in at least one software programming language.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and RubyGems.
Experience with RSpec for automated testing.
Familiarity with Active Record for database interactions and data modeling.
Experience in building and scaling RESTful APIs with knowledge of JSON:API specifications.
Proficient in using Git for version control in collaborative projects.
Solid understanding of design patterns like MVC and Object-Oriented Programming.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with product and design teams.
Passion for staying updated with emerging technologies and software development best practices.
Experience with GitLab CI/CD for continuous integration and delivery.
Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure management.
Experience with AWS services for cloud-based application deployment.
