Lead, mentor, and nurture a collaborative design team, including other managers.
Demonstrate deep expertise in UX design frameworks, interaction models, prototypes, and user research.
Frame designs within the broader customer experience context while also diving into details.
Present design concepts to stakeholders, customers, and executive leadership for feedback and approval.
Make informed decisions based on data, prioritizing effectively while weighing impacts and trade-offs.
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business partners to achieve shared objectives and define impactful experiences.
Navigate from ambiguity to clarity by establishing structure through your design process.
Proactively plan ahead, anticipate needs, and develop processes that enhance quality and efficiency.
As a Senior Manager of UX Design for Amazon's Advertiser Experience, you will elevate the performance of your entire team. You will inspire and mentor UX practitioners, guiding projects through planning, design, and development phases. Thinking like an owner, you will advocate for customer excellence and leverage your organizational and communication skills to navigate complexity.
Here is what you need to bring:
10+ years of design experience
5+ years of experience leading multi-discipline design teams, including visual design, interaction design, and user research
Proven management experience
Experience delivering comprehensive user experiences from end to end, including user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity visuals
Preferred qualifications:
Experience presenting to and advising senior leaders beyond the design team
Ability to integrate design within product teams for agile collaboration
Experience scaling design systems and processes
Familiarity with financial technology or enterprise software
A history of successful cross-functional collaboration
