Qualifications BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development. The role requires solid experience with web-service (RESTful) development using the Microsoft technology stack (e.g., WebAPI, C#). Experience with cloud computing, especially Windows Azure using Service Fabric, is highly desired. Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex IaaS / PaaS / SaaS concepts to team members new to Digital Services Platform. Expert proficiency in at least one programming language such as C# or Java. Strong understanding of algorithms and distributed systems design. Experience in designing and implementing APIs. Proven ability to develop and debug complex applications. Experience integrating systems with third-party APIs and services. Knowledge of designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, including automated build and testing systems. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a desire to solve complex problems at scale. Detailed understanding of IaaS, virtualization, and service-oriented architecture around cloud-based components. Additional Qualities Self-starter and team player, capable of working independently and driving initiatives. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to quickly understand new applications and technologies. Agnostic towards technology/vendor choices, focused on results. Adaptable and capable of performing in fast-paced, changing environments.
