Senior Application Security Engineer, AppSec

We seek a highly collaborative Application Security Engineer committed to ensuring that our services, applications, and websites adhere to top security standards. As a key member of our team, you will: Analyze the security of applications and services, identifying and resolving security concerns. Conduct application security reviews, mobile security evaluations, and secure architectural designs. Engage in threat modeling and participate in projects that strengthen our security posture. Develop and implement security training and outreach programs for internal development teams. Create security guidance documentation and contribute to the development of security tools. Track and improve security metrics within the organization. Assist with recruitment and administrative responsibilities as needed. To excel in this role, you should possess: A BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 5 years of application security experience, including threat modeling, secure design reviews, code reviews, and penetration testing. Expertise in multiple security domains such as identity management, authentication, cryptography, and web protocols. The base pay for this position ranges from $143,300/year to $247,600/year, depending on the geographic market. Additional compensation may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and other benefits.
