We are looking for an Electrical Superintendent to manage industrial electric projects. Candidates should have at least 2 years of industrial electrical supervision experience. The Superintendent will oversee the operations and field personnel responsible for the installation, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials/equipment for the assigned job. The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver & exercises great communication skill with project managers and clients.
Duties are but may not be limited to:
Managing a crew of 10 -15 electricians
Review plans and layouts provided by the Project Manager
Identify and communicate conflicts in construction progress with the Project Manager.
Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan and schedule changes
Generate weekly and monthly material requests
Attend job site meetings with General Contractor, when needed
Maintain daily logs and other paperwork that can be required by the General Contractor
Use an iPad to document daily progress on a project
Maintaining safe and clean working environment
Comprehend and practice safe work procedures
MUST HAVE:
2 years of industrial electrical supervision experience.
Strong industrial electrical background
Strong knowledge of the Electric Code
Ability to safety operate and maintain a specialized electrical service vehicle.
