Summary:
Are you an innovative engineer with a passion for integrating cutting-edge hardware and infrastructure technologies into data centers? We are looking for a Systems Integration Specialist (SIS) who will lead the successful deployment of new hardware platforms and technologies that enhance our operations. As a forward-thinking engineer, you will play a crucial role in technical leadership within our infrastructure ecosystem. In this position, you will: Take charge of new product introductions and processes for the effective launch of new hardware platforms in our global data centers. Collaborate with hardware engineering teams on architecture reviews to create and analyze diagnostic coverage plans. Drive the Design for Serviceability (DFS) requirements to ensure form, fit, and function of new hardware within our existing architectures. Engage early with design development teams to influence improvements in hardware and tooling architecture. Work closely with cross-functional partners, including Data Center Operations, to align on infrastructure deployment and operational needs. Lead the development of comprehensive test strategies and plans to validate software for Data Center Operations. Partner with ODM/OEM vendors to outline product specifications and develop testing plans. Capture lessons learned from production issues and create test cases to mitigate these in future hardware iterations. Travel Requirements:
Expect approximately 15% domestic and international travel to Meta Data Centers and offices. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical experience. 10+ years of experience in hardware development, system administration, software/hardware validation, or acceptance testing. Demonstrated technical aptitude, especially with ASIC, compute, storage, and network architecture. Experience developing and executing test plans derived from specifications using industry-standard tools. Effective communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders. Proficiency in Python/C++ (object-oriented) along with troubleshooting capabilities. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with out-of-band server communication methods and AI/ML hardware deployment. Experience with test-driven software development and Linux operating systems. Knowledge of configuration management systems and proficiency with version control systems. Advanced degrees (MS or PhD) in a technical field or equivalent experience. Compensation:
